The Westside Adult Outpatient Program provides outpatient mental health services with an integrated emphasis on clinical case management. Services are designed to be culturally responsive across a broad spectrum of backgrounds and to address the full range of mental health concerns that clients bring to care.
The program's treatment approach is centered on the whole person — working to prevent unnecessary crisis interventions and hospitalizations while supporting each individual in achieving the highest level of independent living possible, guided by their own goals, abilities, and available community resources. Grounded in a harm reduction framework, the program meets clients where they are, delivering care that is sensitive to individual lifestyle and personal choice.
Referrals to the Westside Outpatient Clinic are made through the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) Behavioral Health Access Line, which provides 24/7 confidential support, referrals, and crisis assistance for mental health and substance use needs across San Francisco.
