Westside Community Services is proud to serve as fiscal intermediary for Positive Directions Equals Change (PDEC), a San Francisco-based organization dedicated to empowering justice-involved individuals navigating addiction, mental health challenges, and reentry. In this capacity, Westside provides administrative, human resources, and fiscal infrastructure that allows PDEC to focus on delivering high-quality, culturally responsive services to the communities it serves. PDEC staff are employed through Westside Community Services.
Founded on the belief that lasting change is possible, PDEC operates residential, transitional housing, and outpatient psychosocial rehabilitation programs for adults with histories of incarceration and substance use disorders. Its programs are peer-led, strength-based, and grounded in the guiding principles of Respect, Interdependence, and Accountability.
