Infusion One
Infusion One began in the early 1990s as a youth and community development grass-roots agency in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. Westside’s program development has been informed by the struggles of our founding Executive Director, Gaylon Logan, Jr., who spent his childhood in Bayview.
Infusion One enriches the academic, physical, emotional and spiritual experiences of those growing up in this neglected and violence-ridden neighborhood. The Program provides a safe place to learn skills that reinforce academic learning and engage young people in critical thinking and community activism. Infusion One emphasizes the link between personal character development and community development by creating opportunities for youth to take action, generate authentic change, and exercise genuine leadership.
